What is MOPS

What is MOPS?

MOPS stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers,” an international organization made up of local support groups that strive to meet the needs of every mom with children from birth through kindergarten. MOPS recognizes that urban, suburban, and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single, and married moms all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be.   The women of MOPS believe that better mothers make a better world!  Northwood Temple Church has two MOPS groups: a regular MOPS group that meets on Tuesday mornings, and a TeenMOPS group that meets on Wednesday nights. If you would like more information about MOPS, go to www.mops.org, or email us at nwtmops@gmail.com. You can also ask any MOPS steering member at the sale — we’re the ones in the red aprons!

Our Sale Is More Than a Fundraiser— It’s a Ministry!

The money raised at our sale funds the Northwood Temple MOPS groups. We also endeavor to show God’s love to each person that comes to the Twice Is Nice sale. It is our prayer that each consignor, volunteer and shopper come away from the sale having found what he or she needed, and a treasure or two that he or she really wanted. Even more, we pray that everyone who comes to the sale feels valued and treasured, too!

Items left at the end of the sale are donated to area charities. If you know of a charity that could benefit from the sale, please contact the Fundraising Coordinator, at nwtmops@gmail.com.
